Some domestic chip manufacturers advertise that their products have high accuracy, but the equipment has obvious vibration amplitude during operation, and the actual accuracy of such equipment is not high. In actual operation, such as accuracy problems will also cause yield problems, which will affect the actual mounting speed.


IC mounting function: Different mounters are suitable for different sizes of IC mounting, usually high-speed machines are generally suitable for small size ics, and multi-function mounters can stick different sizes of ics but the speed is slower. Chip manufacturers need a set of advanced IC recognition software. Some domestic SMT machines are known to be able to paste IC, but in fact, without visual positioning function, this machine can not paste BGA.


Optical positioning and Identification System: MARK cameras for PCB positioning identification and pre-device identification cameras. The MARK camera can position the PCB by scanning the MARK point on the Panel, and the identification camera needs to determine whether the device is caught and whether the device is caught by visual calibration before the device is mounted. The recognition function of the imported chip machine is relatively perfect, and the domestic machine has room for improvement.


Z-axis height calibration and R-axis Angle calibration: Z-axis height calibration identifies the size and thickness of the device, ensuring that each component can be placed on the corresponding pad according to the actual size and shape. The R-axis Angle calibration ensures that each component can be rotated at a certain Angle (such as 90 degrees, 180 degrees) according to the PCB design, and attached to the pad in the correct direction. Some domestic mounters do not have a Z-axis height calibration system, and the cost advantage is obvious, but the performance is sacrificed.


Automatic transmission function: automatic PCB is automatically transferred through the machine, the import machine generally has three transmission area design, such as waiting for the board area, mounting area, out of the board area, so that other equipment can be connected to achieve the purpose of automatic transmission.


Automatic width adjustment system: The set of PCB has different sizes, and manual adjustment takes more time, which will affect the overall mounting accuracy and efficiency. The import machine can be automatically narrowed, the previous width is recorded in the computer, and the machine can operate according to the parameters set last time when the next operation, which can greatly save time.
