SMT machine offline programming preparation:

1. First sort out the customer's BOM, the programming needs to be carried out on the computer, so it must be electronic file. Usually in excel format.

2. Extraction of data coordinates. There are three scenarios:

(1) If the customer has sent the coordinates of the excel or txt document that has been exported, then directly use the programming software to combine the coordinates with the BOM that you have sorted out.

(2). The customer sent the PCB file, then you need to export the coordinates yourself, generally with protel99 or PADS2007 you can export excel format.

(3). The customer only provides a BOM, can not provide coordinates, at this time you need a scanner, the PCB scan after the point saved into CAD format, and then the coordinates and BOM synthesis.

3. Check whether there is any omission or double position after the BOM and coordinate are synthesized. If there is, the engineering department needs to contact the customer to confirm, and save it into the format required by the machine after OK.
